NEW Online (Voluntary) “Terminal Self Inspection Document” (T-SID) Editor This new function will be available for all Terminal Operators to be able to complete all “Self Inspection” (S.I.) designated questions as well as “Terminal Particular Questions” (TPQ) designated questions. Once completed, the “T-SID”, (containing the “SI” & “TPQ” questions), can be electronically sent to the selected CDI-Terminal inspector and imported into the Inspectors Report Editor Software by the CDI inspector Each Terminal Operator will need to register a CDI-T user account (by completing the online registration form) to use the Online T-SID Editor and to complete the Self-Inspection Document. For the Terminal Operator: The general working procedure with the On-line T-SID will be as follows: • Terminal operator to be CDI-T inspected: Navigates to the “Online T-SID Editor” menu section on the www.cdit.nl website • Registers the user account (if no user account registered yet) • Logs on with the registered user account to the “Online T-SID Editor” • Completes the Online T-SID prior to the CDI-T inspection • Submits the completed T-SID to the selected CDI-Terminals inspector • The CDI-Terminals database will send an automatic e-mail notification to confirm the T-SID submission to the inspector, and sends an automatic e-mail to notify the Terminal Operator. For the CDI-Terminal Inspector: • Inspector receives the e-mail notification about the receipt of the T-SID • Inspector opens and evaluates the T-SID in CDI-Terminals Report editor • Inspector samples 25% of the T-SID and if satisfied imports SID data in the CDI-Terminals Report Editor • If the inspector has doubts, regarding SID veracity the inspector will revert to a full Terminal inspection ii. UPDATED: Voluntary Sustainability Terminal Screening Updates and Functionality Voluntary Sustainability Screening option was introduced in the 6th Edition TIR. However, this is now updated to reflect new “Together for Sustainability” (TfS) Questionnaire version 4.0 and 8th Edition TIR • A chemical company member can request the specific terminal operator to (voluntarily) complete these additional sustainability questions via the “Sustainability Addendum” and import them into the CDI-T terminal company terminal report. • Within the 8th edition TIR, existing CDI questions, that that relate to specific TfS questions are indicated with the designator “SUS” when viewed in he CDI-T database • This enables the chemical company member to extract and review all sustainability related questions (both from the CDI-T Report and the Sustainability Addendum) for their (TfS) Sustainability screening requirements in the CDI-T database in an effective simple manner iii. General 8th Edition TIR Updates Revision work has been extensive and taken many months to review, revise and update the 8th edition.
